Thank you for your earlier help
We would like to see Mount Fuji and will be staying in wakayama for a few days .what trains would we need to get from wakayama to Mount Fuji?
What trains would we get from Gifu to Mount Fuji?
How many trains
Hi there,
Could you specify what station around Fuji you plan to visit? It is a rather large area :)
We want to go from Osaka to a jr train station anywhere near Mount Fuji perhaps shimizu or Fuji if they are on the rout from Osaka then we can get closer if we want but we need to be near the jr train station that we can get a train to Gifu when we leave.
I hope you can understand . It is the most direct route to anywhere near Mount Fuji that will still allow me to get a train to Gifu when we leave.
Thank you so much Evelyn
Hi Evelyn,
Gifu is a direct train away from Nagoya, which in turn is centrally located on the Tokaido Shinkansen. As a result, I'd advise looking at spots located long this route. You could consider places like Atami, Shizuoka, or Mishima stations. These all have local trains running from them, and depending on time, allow you to get closer to Fuji.
Shimuzu can be visited from Shizuoka for example, and has beautiful beach views with Fuji.
