Hi there im going to fukuoka this coming january and was curious with this jr pass. Does jr pass have lots of train in fukuoka? We will be having our vacation for 10days but the unli jrpass is only for 7days. I was planning to get the 14daya jrpass unli. Do u think this is advisable? And coz we were planning to go to osaka kyoto and tokyo then back to fukuoka. Are the sight seeing places near the jr line? So that we can maximize evrything and save time and money. Thanks!

Hi there,

The JR Pass is best used for intercity travel. I would certainly recommend one if you plan to travel to Tokyo, you can use the bullet train all the way there and can make stops at any place you would like.

You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.
