I purchased two green class japan rail passes (Exchange orders) for our late March trip to Japan.
Is it possible to reserve seats on the Central Japan Railway Company trains from the USA before we arrive?
(Tokyo-Osaka-Kyoto on the Hikari trains)
My wife and I are hoping to sit together in the green car.

You can reserve seats for this route the moment that you are in Japan and have activated your JR Pass.
When you activate the pass, you can select your first day of use, so you don't have to start using it right away.
