Hi everyone! Me and my fiancé are planning to visit Japan from January 8 to 19. Our port of arrival will be at Osaka where we are going to stay for 3 days, then Kyoto for another 3 days, and our last leg will be at Tokyo where we will be staying until we fly back to our resident countries on the 19th. Is it worth getting the 14 day pass for this? We are not sure of what to do at the moment coz obviously JR pass is not very cheap and we want to be able to get the most out of the pass if we do get one. Thank you very much in advance for your advice.

Hi there,
You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary. It may depend on where you arrive in Japan and what other side trips you plan to do. Personally I'd look at a 7-day JR Pass and see if you can fit all your long distance travel within that period.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
