Hi! My husband and I arrive in Fukuoka on July 24. We are meeting our kids in Tokyo (Narita Airport) on July 26. We’re all scheduled to stay in Tokyo from July 26- July 31 and head to Osaka from July 31-August 4. My kids leave out of Narita in Tokyo to head back home on August 5 and my husband and I leave out of Fukuoka on August 5. Total we’ll be in Japan about 11-12 full days. Is it cost efficient to get a JR Rail pass or fly? All together there’s a total of 6 adults and 1 infant. Please advise. Thank you!

Hi there,
Yes, a 7 day JR Pass is both worth it. Given that you make the trip back to Tokyo or Fukuoka before the pass expires.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
