Would I be able to travel from Fukuoka to Osaka with just a JR pass? All the other places that I want to visit require a jr pass but I don't want to spend extra money.

Hi there,

Yes, Fukuoka to Osaka is fully covered by the JR Pass. It's a bit counter-intuitive but the station for Fukuoka city is called Hakata, and it is a direct route via Sanyo Shinkansen where most services will terminate at Hakata. This is just over a 3 hour journey so you could always stop over in Hiroshima etc. to split up the journey and see something else.

Hope this helps!

Alexis
