I am traveling (4 adults total) with the JR Rail Pass. We are staying at Highland Resort & Spa at FujiQ, and are going from there to Osaka on November 26. What is the best route?
Is it a bus to a rail station (but which one -- I've read different things, Gotemba or Mishima), and do I need to buy the bus ticket in advance? I would like to time it so I am not waiting a long time for the train or the opposite - rushing to catch it and missing it. thank you!
Hi there,
Both Mishima and Gotemba are options. Going via Mishima is easier, as you can use the Shinkansen from there directly to Osaka.
It is an express bus and you will need to buy a ticket prior to boarding. Your accommodation will likely be able to tell you the best place locally to do so. Generally, this can be done at the bus station.
