HI i am traveling December 3rd Osaka to Tokyo and back Tokyo to Osaka on DEC 9th. Should i purchase jr pass or single tickets to and back. me and wife 2 adults with 8month old baby girl. Any advice much appreciated.
our Itinerary:
Arrive Osaka from Hawaii.
Sunday 12/1 Conrad Osaka
Monday 12/2 Conrad Osaka
Tuesday 12/3 take bullet train to Tokyo :Tokyo Hilton bay
Wednesday 12/4 Tokyo Hilton bay
Thursday 12/5 Tokyo Hilton bay
Friday 12/6 Hilton Odaiba
Saturday 12/7 Asakusa
Sunday 12/8 Hilton Shinjuku
Monday 12/9 Take bullet train Osaka: Hilton OSAKA
Tues 12/10 leave 11:00 pm Kasai airport

Hi there,
The cost of a return ticket Osaka - Tokyo is very similar in price to a 7-day JR Pass. Basically any travel after is what you'd save. Are you thinking of doing any day trips from Tokyo?

sorry about the last reply.
Really were are going to do things around the area or hotel that we are staying at. except in Osaka we are going to catch train to Kyoto and check out Fushimi Inari shrine. I caught a platt kodama train last time from tokyo to osaka took about 4 hrs think it was $130 a person. But anyway, So we should get a 7 day JR rail pass. Mahalo
