I have a JR pass and am currently in Nagano City. Can I use the pass to get to one of the ski fields, i.e. Shiga Kogen or Hakuba?? I can only find buses that travel there does my pass cover any of these? Thanks.

Hi there,
It depends on the area. For instance Shiga Kogen only has bus access, you can however use local lines to Hakuba.
The Ski buses are not covered by the JR Pass.
