From Koyasan to Hongu (Kumana Kodo)

Hi everyone
i am planning now the trip of my dream in Japan and found one problem on the route:
1. Koyasan to Hongu, from there i want to make a 2-day trekking to Nachi Taish. is there a way to get from KoyaSan (the ryokan on the top of the mountain) to Hongu using JR pass?
2. to get back how can i get from Nachi Taisha to Osaka or Kyoto using the JR pass again.

i am looking for information and every hour getting more and more confused with this part of the route.

will be extremely grateful for info

Hi there,

1.) I'm afraid not, there are no JR lines near Koya-san or Hongu.
