Doubts about JRP

Hey there,

I`m gonna be at Japan during 30 days, so I need some information to plan my trip. If you may answer and help me, it will be great!!

  1. Where can I find "time to arrival" or "estimated time of arrival"? Ex: Tokio to Mt Fuji. There`s a website? Can I find this information in Jrpass website?

  2. Can I use JPR from, ex. Tokio to go to Hakodate, sapporo and return?

  3. I saw a Map in JPRpass.com, but there`re some greend and blue lines. Are they different? Can I use both?

  4. With JRP, besides using train, what else can I use? (boats, planes etc.)

  5. What website is more useful to find means of locomotion in Japan?

  6. I`m from Brazil. Can I buy JRP in Japan?

  7. About internet. If a buy a Japansimcard (not ppocketwifi) just to use some internet, is cheaper than buy a pocketiwifi? Cause IDont have 14 devices...Just wanna use my celphone to see whatsapp, facebook and googlemaps. hehe

Hello there,

1.) Yes, you can find the details here:

2.) Yes, all of these are included.

3.) The blue line are the Shinkansen, high speed bullet trains and the green lines are the conventional JR lines. Both are included.

4.) You can use local JR buses, the JR Miyajima ferry, Tokyo Monorail and sometimes there are other local extra's.

5.) Sorry, not sure what you mean here.

6.) Yes, as long as you enter Japan using a temporary visitor visa.

7.) This should work, no problem :)
