My wife and I are traveling to Japan (from America) for the first time. I am trying to understand the requirements for purchasing tickets. We will be in Japan (most of the time in Tokyo) for 14 days but we will like to purchase 2 7day tickets.
So, what do I need to do to purchase 2 7day tickets?

Hi there,
You can purchase the JR Pass starting 3 months before you want to start using it - no other requirement is needed at this stage.
To activate the JR Pass, you need to bring your passport and visa. Most countries will receive this as a stamp upon arrival in Japan, including the U.S.
