Hi there,

Nearly all your travel is within the greater Tokyo Area. Travel here does not cost a lot compared to longer distances. Generally it is fine to buy normal tickets here or look at day passes for the JR or Tokyo Metro. These can be purchased at local ticket machines.

A 7 day JR Pass could be a good option if you were to use it for a return Tokyo - Kyoto.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
