Hello. I was about to buy our 7-day rail passes and then I thought I should ask you first:

If we arrive at Narita on Saturday at 2PM and use our JR Rail Passes on the N'Ex train to Tokyo, use them all week, and then on the following Saturday wish to use our passes 1 last time: in the Morning to go back to Narita: is this OK or is ANY time on the second Saturday already the 8th day?

Hi there,

The JR Pass is counted in days (not hours) and the first day is counted as a full day no matter what time you first get on the train. That means that it will be valid until the following Friday, when first used on a Saturday. You'd have to buy a one way ticket to Narita Airport for the Saturday.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
