Hallo!
I have a JR Pass 14 days normal. When I check the connections Kyoto --> Miyajima and Miyajima --> Tokyo, Hyperdia does not find the route (Nozomi and private trains are unselected).
When I search for these routes in Google Maps, "Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen" Nozomi train is always involved.
Does this mean that I can't do these two routes with my JR Pass?

Hi,
To see Miyajima, the station you should be inputting is Miyajimaguchi. Please try it again on Hyperdia.
Aside from the Itsukushima Shrine with the giant "floating" torii, the Daishoin Temple is also a must-see place. There are several other pagodas and temples, and climbing Mt. Misen offers a fantastic view over the island and whole area.
If you have time, just a bit past Miyajima is Iwakuni with its iconic historical bridge and mountaintop castle.
For Miyajima, please note that there are 2 ferry companies there - make sure you go to the JR one if you want to use your pass.
