I am arriving to Tokyo Haneda airport on 5/13/26. I wanted to purchase the JRPass premium for two people. I understand the pass has to be mailed before arrival in Japan. Is there any way to have digital pass so that we can still buy the pass now and not risk the pass being mailed too late?
I appreciate any information you can provide.

Unfortunately, E-tickets are not available for the Nationwide JR Pass. Alternatively, we can have your order delivered directly to your hotel in Japan. Please note that delivery to Japan takes 3-5 business days after dispatch. As courier services in Japan will resume on 11 May following the Golden Week holiday, your order would likely arrive around 14 May.

I will be arriving to this hotel the evening of 5/13/26: eph KYOTO Minami-Ku Higashikujo Nishisanno-Cho 5-6, Kyoto, 601-8003, Japan. Do you think I could purchase the JR pass and have it delivered to this hotel? Is this a common practice?
If I'm not able to access the JR Pass while I'm there can I cancel it and be reimbursed my payment?
