I have an enquiry.
I will be getting JR pass for my Japan trip (arriving at Tokyo and will make a trip to Osaka and come back to Tokyo).
I will be arriving Tokyo in the morning and planning to exchange the voucher to JR pass. Just wondering whether i will be in time to book seats for Shinkansen to Osaka that day itself? Or i can only book the seats for the ride next day to Osaka.

Hello Jenny,
You could do so in either way. Generally it is fine to book tickets on the day of travel, however on days like new year it is better to book tickets a couple of days in advance.
