I´m travelling with my daughter in the area of Kansai in the beginning of June. We are planning to buy JR-pass and travel one day from Osaka to Tottori (also Kioto and Nara etc.). 7-days ticket. Is this worth of value (230 €)? JR-pass OK between Osaka to Tottori or what are extra costs?

Hi there,
I checked the route you and think that it would be best to buy normal tickets. Osaka - Tottori is ¥ 7,090 and local cost travel in Kansai (Osaka, Kyoto, Nara) is low. The JR Pass could be helpful if you would do more travel with it such as a return to Tokyo or Hiroshima.
