HI there, I have just purchased 7 days passes for Japan, as per one of the other questions are they consecutive?
We are in Tokyo for 4 days, then going to Hakuba for 5 days then was wanting to travel for the last few days around by train. but most of the 7 day pass we will be in the one spot?
Cheers

Hi there,
Yes, the Japan Rail Pass is counted in consecutive days. As travel within Tokyo does not cost a lot, start using the JR Pass once you depart Tokyo.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
