Hi,
I'm planning to travel from Tokio to Kyoto and also stop in Hakone and Shizuoka on my way back to Tokio
I'm wondering is 7days JRpass the best option even thou I might need the Nozomi line? Is there other ways to get from Kyoto to Hakone?
My trip plan is
23. 9 Tokio-Kyoto
25.9 Kyoto-Hakone
27.9 Hakone-Shinzuoka
29.9 Shinzuoka-Tokio
Hi there,
I think you may be confused about the Nozomi, this is a train service (and not a train line). The train line between Tokyo - Kyoto is called the Tokaido Shinkansen line, you can use the Hikari and Kodama Shinkansen train services on this line using the JR Pass. They will get you between Tokyo, Kyoto and Hakone.
