Activating my JR pass

Hi,

We will be in Japan from 27th Nov to 7th of Dec this year. I've purchased a 7 day rail pass, can I activate this 3 days after we land in Tokyo so that we can travel around Japan after staying in Tokyo for a few days?

Yes, you can activate the pass at any time you would want. There's no need to do so right away.
