I will visit Japan next November, What kind of pass should I choose? (7 ou 14 days)

option A - 7 day pass starting use for the day trip to Nara, in this case I'll have to buy individual tickets for the trip from osaka airport to Kyoto and 3 days toTokyo metro

option B- use de 14 days pass

this is my itinerary:

Osaka airport to Kyoto station

3 days in kyoto

Day trip Nara from Kyoto

Day trip Hiroshima from Kyoto

Day trip shirakawa-go from Kyoto

1 day Hakone

5 days in Tokyo

best regards

Hi there,

I think a 7 day JR Pass would work fine for travel to Hiroshima, Shirakawago and Hakone/Tokyo. These are the most expensive routes and you would make good savings here using a 7 day pass.

You could then simply buy normal tickets for the remaining days.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
