Aloha JR Pass team,
My boyfriend and I will be traveling from Hawaii to Osaka for the first time. We will be arriving late in Osaka on the 10th of April and will probably want to start our JR Pass on the 11th. In Osaka our only plan besides going around Osaka (Universal Studios, area would be to do a day trip to and from Kyoto. We will be in Osaka till the 15th then taking the Shinkansen to Tokyo for two days till we fly out of Tokyo to Korea.
We are going with another couple that had purchased the 7 day rail pass. I only felt it was beneficial for them to purchase because they will be doing the round trip from Tokyo to Osaka and back with a day trip to Kyoto. Other than being able to get on the same rails as the couple we are traveling with, do you feel this would also be beneficial for us as well to purchase the 7 day rail pass?
