Hi, I have a question. I am considering buying a 7 day JR Pass for my trip to Japan. I would start using the Pass to go from Hakone to Kyoto on October 23rd and would use it again on the 30th to go from Osaka to Tokyo. If I star using my pass on Tuesday 23rd, would it be any good on tuesday 30th? or would it expire on monday 29th?

It would expire on the 29th, as the 23rd would be counted as a full day.
