7 Day JR Pass - To buy or not to buy

Hi, I and my wife plan to do Osaka-Kyoto-Tokyo in 8 days. Will a JR Pass be beneficial as we intend to arrive in Osaka, travel to Kyoto, then to Tokyo and travel to Hakone area also. As we intend to arrive in Osaka and leave from Tokyo (no round trip), will the JR Pass be beneficial or we can just buy tickets as we go along. Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

For your trip, regular tickets would cost less than a JR Pass. So that's what I'd do :)
