Hi there,

I would use a 21-day Japan Rail Pass for travel from 27.03 - 16.04. This would cover the period of the larger share of your travel and help you make the best possible savings. You could then buy normal tickets for days outside of the JR Pass.

Nice passes to supplement your travel could be:
-Hakone Free Pass, for travel to and within Hakone. -Tokyo Wide Pass, for travel to Nikko and any other day trip like Kamakura, Fuji, Gala Yuzawa and so on.
