Hi, will the JR pass for 14 days be beneficial?

Tokyo Narita > Koyasan > Osaka

I will be staying in Osaka and travelling to Kyoto, Nara and/Kobe

And lastly, from Osaka back to Tokyo and will be spending the rest of the days there.

Total days will be about 13 days.

Hi there,

It depends a little on your planning, a 7 day JR Pass would be great if you used it to return to Tokyo within 7 days, otherwise I think the best option would be to simply buy normal rail tickets as you travel.

You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Which JR pass should I buy? I am confused as there are different JR pass for different area. There is also the Nationwide JR pass. Which will be the one which I can use to travel from Tokyo to Osaka and from Osaka to various areas such as Kyoto, Nara & Kobe.

I wont be staying in Osaka for more than 7 days, I will only be staying there for 4 days.
