I am arriving in Narita late afternoon and want to go to Kyoto that day. Then the next day travel in late afternoon to Hiroshima. What kind of ticket do I buy and how to I get a connection in Narita?

Hi there,

I think a JR Pass can be useful here. However, just to be sure, do you have any plans after Hiroshima?

no, I fly from Hiroshim to Tokyo. I will only be taking the train for 2 days.

Hi again,

In that case I would suggest buying normal train tickets.

A JR Pass would have worked well with a little bit more travel.
