can i buy JR one way trip in japan?

Hi there!

For this trip, I think I recommend purchasing the following:

  1. Narita Express + SUICA card
  2. For Fuji, if you are going to Kawaguchiko, use the Fujikyu bus, or for Hakone, use the Hakone Free Pass.

You shouldn't need to buy a JR Pass for this trip, and will cover most with the above travel options. Note that the SUICA card is a rechargeable card and is valid for JR lines and Metro and Bus services in Tokyo so it is a very hand card, however it is pre-pay, so once you use all the funds on the card you will need to recharge it at a metro or JR station.

I hope this helps!
