I'm looking at a 14 day national pass, Ill be Beppu/Kagoshima/Nagasaki/Fukuoka/Osaka. I think the pass is fine for all those, however on the last day I will be Osaka to Narita. When I look at Hyperdia and I filter out the Non-eligible triains (Nozumi and Mizuho) it shows a 10 hour trip to Narita. Is this right? or am I making a mistake Thanks

Hi there,
I think there must be a mistake somewhere. You can use the Hikari Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Narita Airport and then the Narita Express to the airport. The route is still long (around 5 hours depending on transfer time) but at least not 10.

You can take the bullet train up to Shinagawa or Tokyo Station - from there you can board the Narita Express.
I don't know why you got 10 hours either - but if you put in a departure time that's too late, Hyperdia will only take you as far as you can go in one day, and put the rest on the following day. Trains don't run 24 hrs in Japan. If you try Hyperdia with a morning departure from Shin-Osaka, you'll probable get a much faster total time. For example, here. Total time is about 4¾ hours, not 6 or 10.
