My itinerary is
1. Osaka/Nara
2. Osaka to Tokyo
3. Tokyo to kyoto
4. Kyoto to Osaka
5. Osaka to Tokyo
6. Nakano, kamakura & hakone

I just wanted to make sure that I would be able to go back and forth using the Shinkansen. Thank you!

Hello there,

Yes the JR Pass allows for unlimited rides during it's validity period both on the Shinkansen and other JR Lines.

The JR Pass nearly covers all your travel within your itinerary, expect for inside Hakone. Where you'll have to use local (non JR) transport.

Hope this helps,
