Hi
We are travelling to Japan next February to go skiing in Aizu and Hakuba. We would like to get a 5 day flexible Regional JR pass, but does one regional pass cover a Shinkansen routes from Tokyo to Koriyama and also Tokyo to Nagano?

Hi Bev,
There used to be 1 general JR East Pass, that covered both area's. Now JR East had split it up and made the Nagano and Tohoku pass. There's unfortunately no regional pass that covers both. The only pass that does is the Japan Rail Pass.
