Will 14 Day JR Pass cover these places?

Hello

Can you please have a look at my itinerary and confirm a 14 day JR pass is worth it?

Feb2-5 Tokyo
Feb 6-7 Kyoto (activate 14 day JR pass on 6 Feb)
Feb 9-10 Osaka
Feb 11-14 Nozawa Onsen
Feb 15 - 16 Tokamachi Snow Festival
Feb 17 Tokyo
Feb 18 Day trip to Nikko from Tokyo
Feb 19 Tokyo (JR pass expires today)

I have done the calculations for individual trips and it appears the 14 day pass will be more economical.
However when I did the search on Hyperdia, I found it a bit confusing. I am not sure if they are entirely covered by the JR pass. They are the trains going from Osaka - Nozawa Onsen - Tokamachi -Tokyo. Can you please confirm if the JR pass can be used to get to all these places?

Hi there,

Yes, you will make good savings on this trip using the 14 day Japan Rail Pass.

For travel to Nozawa-Onsen, most people take the Shinkansen to IIyama station and then an express bus to Nozawa in 20min. The bus is not included in the JR Pass. Tokamachi can be reached by JR on the JR Iiyama line.
