Hi,
I single mom with two sons 14 and 12 will be travelling around Japan in July. Which pas will be best? And is the pass per person on a mobile phone, or can I have three passes on my phone?
Narita airport july 6th, Tokyo, Nikko, Hakone, Nara, Osaka, Kyoto, Hemiji, Hiroshima and Fukuoka airport july 20th. From there we fly to Okinawa and continue to South Korea.

I'm sure this will be a great family trip!
Based on the trip information you gave me, there's no JR Pass that would help you make savings but the pass would be cover the entire trip - note that the JR Pass is a physical ticket (not digital on your phone).
I would buy the tickets as you travel - it can take a little more time at the station but would be flexible.
