HI. MY ITINERARY IS AS FOLLOWS
28 JUNE 2019 TO 3 RD JULY 19 .- TOKYO
3-6 JULY KYOTO
6-9 JULY OSAKA
9-11 JULY HIROSHIMA
11-12 TOKYO

WHAT IS THE BEST RAIL PASS I MUST TAKE ?

I AM TRAVELLING WITH MY FAMILY ( WIFE AND TWO CHILDREN - 15 YEARS AND 10 YEARS)

WHAT IS THE VALIDITY OF THE JR PASS. HOW IS THE 7 DAY PERIOD CALCULATED?

Hi Ravi,

The JR Pass is counted in consecutive days, meaning it will count down every day once you start it. With your itinerary in mind, I suggest getting a 14 day Japan Rail Pass. Travel to Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima can be quite expensive without the pass.

Children below the age of 12 can use a "Child Pass" at 50% the price of a normal pass.
