Hi everyone!
We are going to Japan on July, and we'd like to go to Hokkaido, so I want to know if there's a way to go from Tokyo to Sapporo by train. I know it's gonna get some time to get us there, but as we're buying the JRP for 14 days, we want to get the most benefit of it.

Thanks!

Hi there,

You can reach Sapporo using the JR Pass. It's about 7 hours but there's only one transport along the way at Hakodate Shinkansen station.

Was there something specific about this route you'd like to know?

Hi Dani!
Thanks for your answer.

So the thing is, we have to get to Hakodate and then take a Regional train to Sapporo, right?
Then from there, we can move along the place by bus or Regional Trains.

Also, I would like to know, where can I find the schedules for the trains? Is there some night trains from Tokyo to Hakodate/Sapporo and to come back?

Thank you!
