Please help with the following itinerary and let me know if it would be better to get the 7 day pass or the 14 day (especially since we will only be in Japan for 8 days)
June 15, arrive Narita Airport Terminal 2, need to get to hotel near Shimbashi Station
June 18, leaving Shimbashi Station and need to get to Hakone-Yumoto Station
June 19, leaving Hakone-Yumoto Station and need to get to Karasuma Station in Kyoto
June 22, leaving Karasuma Station and need to get back to Narita Airport
While in Tokyo, Hakone and Kyoto - we will not be traveling that much (mostly local sightseeing)
If we activate the 7 day pass when we arrive, it will expire on the 21st, but we still need to get back to Narita Airport from Kyoto. But we leave on June 22 and will not be able to use the 14 day pass.
Would it be better to just find alternative way to my hotel near Shimbashi Station from Narita Airport on June 15 and then activate the pass on the 18th? Is that cost efficient?
