There are 3 of us travelling to Japan.
Day 1-5 Arrive Japan via Narita, Stay in Tokyo with Hakone day trip (possibly day 4)
Day 5-8 Kyoto
Day 8 to 11 Osaka , exiting Japan via Kansai International Airport in Osaka.
Should I get a 7 day pass starting on day 4 or a 14 day pass to cover our whole trip?

Hi there,
For your trip it would cost less to buy normal tickets on this route, than use a Japan Rail Pass.
A Japan Rail Pass would have given you good savings, if you made a return Tokyo - Kansai.
