Hello, I’ll travel with my husband and our kids, who are 10 years old , from 7th to 20th August.
This is the itinerary:
Day 1 : from Kansai to Kyoto
From Kyoto daily trips to Nara and the main local attractions
Day 5 : from Kyoto to Kanazawa
Day : 8 from Kanazawa to Tokyo; 5 days exploring the town
Maybe one day visit to Kamakura from Tokyo
I understood that tickets can be more expensive in August. Is it true? I need to understand if it’s convenient to buy the pass...
If I the pass, can the tickets be booked in advance?
If I don’t buy the oass, can I buy the tickets online in advance, from Italy?
Thanks for your help.

Hello Barbara,
I checked your itinerary for the best option and it would be cheapest to buy normal tickets for your trip. Train tickets can differ a little depending on the season but will be a couple Euro difference.
Tickets can be booked once you arrive in Japan, at any JR station.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
