Hi

I am really looking forward to visiting Japan in June 2019. I will be travelling by train but am not sure if I would save money by buying a rail pass. Any help would be much appreciated.
I am travelling from Kii-Katsuura to Hiroshima, Miyajima Island, Kyoto, Kawaguchiko and Tokyo.

Thanks
Sukydee

Hi Sukydee,

It would help me if you provided a bit more information about your travels. E.g. where you arrive, how many days you want to spend in each place and so on.

With the cities you plan to visit, my advice for now would be to use a 7-day or 14-day JR Pass.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel
We will be ending the Kumano Kudo in Kiri-Katsuura on 18th June. We plan to start our train journey on 19th by travelling to Hiroshima with a couple of days there and visiting Miyajima Island. We then want to visit Kyoto and spend a day or two there, We need to be in Tokyo for the evening of 24th June but would like to spend some time near Mount Fuji on the way, possibly Kawaguchiko. We will have two days in Tokyo before flying out of Narita on 27th.
Thanks Sukydee
