Hi. My family of 3 adults and 1 six year old. Will arrive at Kansai International then make my way to the Dotonbori area where we will stay for 4 nights. On one of the days, we will travel to Nara Park to see the deers. One the fifth day, we will head to Tokyo where we will stay for 6 nights. We may travel out of Tokyo but just its surrounding areas like Shibuya, Shinjukku and Akihabara. In your opinion, is it worth getting the JR Pass? Thank you.

Hi there,
For your trip it would be cheaper to just buy the train tickets as you travel. A Japan Rail Pass is worth considering if you make a return Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
