Hi, i'm planning to got to Japan on June 2018. I have made my itinerary but i'm having trouble choosing what regional JR Pass would be most cost effective for me?

this is my itinerary:
day1: arrive @ narita airport, stay the night at shinjuku.
day 2: TDR, from TDR go to Kyoto and stay 2 night
day 3: arayashima (using the sagano romance car from kyoto)
tugetsukyo bridge in arayashima
Bamboo grove+ Tenryu-ji Temple
back to kyoto using JR
day 4: fushimi inari & Nara Park, go back to tokyo
day 5: UENO (museum&zoo), Tokyo Sighseeing
day 6: tokyo - narita airport (plane @ 11am)

do you have any suggestion?

i understand that combining JR Regional might be cheaper? Im traveling with husband and 2 kids (under 4&5 yr old)

Hi there,

I recommend using a 7 day JR Pass for this trip. There's no other pass that effectively covers the route Tokyo - Kyoto and you could use the JR Pass between all the cities you visit as well as to/from Narita Airport. All together it will add up to a nice amount of savings.
