Based on plan, i will be arriving in Narita on Saturday morning August 09, 2014 and then will go to Atsugi. And then, herewith my itinerary :

August 10 : Around Atsugi shi and Isihera
August 11 : Explore Tokyo (Tokyo Tower;Shibuya;Akihabara;Ueno Garden;Harajuku)
August 12 : Kawaguschiko
August 13 - 14 : Kyoto - Osaka
August 15 : Atsugi shi
August 16 : Narita Airport (in the morning)

During that time, i'll go with my husband who already stays in Japan for work training, is he available to get JR Pass too? And how if it is only available for myself? Please your advice.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi there,

Looks like an interesting itinerary! I assume that your husband stays in Atsugi-shi?
The JR Pass is available to everyone who enters Japan under a 14 or 90 day tourist visa. It is likely that your husband is in Japan under a work visa, which would mean that he won't be able to use the JR Pass. Be sure to check what visa type he has before purchasing a JR Pass.

Hope this helps!

Hello Daniel,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, you are correct.
I think so, he has a work training for several months.
And with itinerary stated above, need your advice whether it is better using JR pass or not.

Thank you very much.
