I am writing to check my itinerary and to understand which rail pass may be the best selection for my trip. Below is my tentative itinerary (I am also open to your suggestions for revision). I have to start and end in Kansai International Airport.
June 10-13 - Kyoto
June 14 - Nara
June 15 - Osaka (okay to omit this if it gives additional time elsewhere)
June 16 - Koya-san
June 17 - Himeji/Hiroshima
June 18-Hiroshima/Miyajima
June 19 - Miyajima/Tokushima
June 20 - Tokushima
June 21-25 Tokyo
June 26 - depart from Kansai International Airport
Is it best to buy a 7 day pass beginning on June 14th and purchase the ticket from Tokushima to Tokyo on June 21 and Tokyo-Kansai Airport on June 25? Or is it best to buy a 14 day pass and use it to get around Tokyo (maybe an excursion to Fuji Five Lake Region) and back to the Kansai airport?
I am also curious to learn if the abovementioned route is available in the Green Car?
