Hi,

Can you please check for my itinerary for May and what will you recommend as in any changes to the itinerary or I have missed some place or if I should skip some place.
Any suggestion on what pass should I get and what pass should my wife get and for how many days?
What will be most economical.

Day 1- Arrive in Tokyo at 5am and then move to Hokkaido and Sapporo
Day 2 and Day 3 - Sapporo - Niseko( pls suggest - what should I cover?)
Day 4 - Back to Tokyo
Day 4 - Day 7 - Stay in Tokyo ( I need to stay in Tokyo for some work) so won't really be travelling.

Day 8 is when my wife joins me and then we plan to do the following:
Day 8 - Stay in Tokyo
Day 9 - Hakone & Mt Fuji
Day 10,11 - Kyoto
Day 12 - Nara & Osaka
Day 13 - Kobe
Day 14- Tokyo
Day 15 - Fly back to Sydney

Thanks

Hi there,

Just to be sure - will you be going up to Hokkaido by Rail or Air? This would make quite a difference on what rail pass to get. That said, I think a 14-day Japan Rail Pass will be the best option if you make a return Tokyo - Sapporo by rail. While a 7-day JR Pass would be best from day 8-14 if you fly to Hokkaido.

Hope this helps :)
Daniel
