I'm wondering which options are best for the following itinerary:

May 14: Osaka (KIX) -> Kyoto
May 15: Kyoto -> Toyooka (Kinosaki)
May 17: Kinosaki -> Yasugi City
May 18: Yasugi -> Hiroshima
May 19: Hiroshima -> Miyajima
May 20: Miyajima -> Himeji -> Kobe
May 21: Kobe -> Osaka
May 24: Osaka -> KIX

1) JR Pass (full)
2) JR WEST pass & buy tickets from Kyoto -> Kinosaki and Kinosaki -> Yasugi
3) Buy all tickets separately!

Thanks!

Hi there,

I'd grab a 7-day Sanyo-San'in Area Pass, it costs significantly less than a 7-day JR Pass, covers all your travel and will help you make great savings on this itinerary.

Hope this helps :)

Hi Daniel,

Just wondering if the Sanyo-San'in pass covers the following part of our trip:

May 15: Kyoto -> Toyooka (Kinosaki)
May 17: Kinosaki -> Yasugi City
May 18: Yasugi -> Hiroshima

Looking at the area that the Sanyo-San'in pass covers, it doesn't look like it covers Kinosaki and Yasugi City.

Thank you so much for your help!!!
