Hi Daniel San,

I have been reading all those posts but it seems that I cannot find anything like mine itinerary.

So I post here to get some feedback and recommendation from the expert travellers/backpackers.

PLAN A
1. Saturday - Arrived at Haneda Airport - late evening -+ at 2100
2. Sunday - Take train/bus to Shinjuku (Tokyo) for sleep and have one-day sightseeing in Tokyo. Travel to Kawaguchiko at night.
3. Monday - Arrive at Kawaguchiko to see Fujiyama. (half day..take pics etc and continue to Nagoya by noon)
4. Monday - Arrived at Nagoya in the evening- sleep 2 nights here in Nagoya..would love to visit the Toyota Museum etc..Travel to Kyoto at night on the second day in Nagoya.
5. Wednesday - Arrive in Kyoto in the morning..not sure yet what activity/ies in Kyoto. Maybe skipped this city.
6. Thursday - Arrive in Osaka, Sightseeing in Osaka and sleep in Osaka.
7. Friday - Osaka (Kansai Airport)

PLAN B
1. Arrived at Haneda Airport - late evening -+ at 2100

Hi there,

Both routes work, however, I'm interested to know how you plan to go from Nagoya to Kyoto by night? It is less than 1 hour by train from Nagoya using the Shinkansen. A JR Pass would not be cost-efficient for your route, as normal tickets would simply cost less.

Personally, I do love Kyoto, there's a lot to see there in terms of culture, history and Japanese tradition. Though if you prefer to see the more modern metropolis side of Japan, then Osaka is better.
