Hi. My family and I are travelling for two weeks in mid April. We arrive in Tokyo on 6th April, leave on 10th. Spend 6 days travelling through Matsumoto, Nakasendo trail, Hijemi, Hiroshima, Miyajima and back to Kyoto on the 15th. Plan to visit Nara and possibly Osaka from Kyoto. Then to Hakone on the 19th and back to Tokyo on the 20th, fly home on 21st.

We were going to get the two week pass but it seems to me that we could do all the travelling from Tokyo to Kyoto with a one week pass and then just get the Kyoto Hakone Tokyo tickets separately. Would that be cheaper? Is there any advantage to having the Pass for those trips rather than just booking the tickets directly?

Thanks

John

Hi John,

Could you give me a count of how many days you actually spend in each city/place?

This would help me find the best option(s) for you.

Kind regards,
Daniel
