My sister and I are planning to travel to Japan in September, starting in Osaka (2 days, including a trip to Himeji), then moving on to Nara (2 days), Kyoto (5 days) and then Tokyo (the final 5 days). Which JR Pass would you recommend?

Hi Ines,
I recommend using a Kansai Area Pass it offers amazing value for travelling to Himeji, Nara and Kyoto. Then buy a one way ticket Kyoto - Tokyo to go to Tokyo.
