Hi,
I am planning a trip in japan next august with my family. We will be staying 12 days. Do we need the pass for Kamakura and Nikko? Or we can use it just For Kyoto, Hiroscima, Nara, Myiana, Hakone and back to Tokyo? We arrive the 21 st and we are planning to stay 4 days in Tokyo and from there go to Kamakura and Nikko the 23rd and 24 th. The 25 th move to Kyoto and from there visit each with a day trip Nara, Hyroshima and Myiana and leave the 29 th to Hakone and the 30 th to Tokyo. What do you think? thanks in advance
7 days pass
Hi there,
Kamakura and Nikko are included in the JR Pass! However, please note that Hakone is not directly accessible with the JR Pass, meaning that you'll have to purchase tickets separate to your Pass when going to and from there.
Also - not quite sure what you mean be "Myiana" - do you mean Miyajima Island by any chance? If so, good news as the ferry is included in the JR Pass.
Hope this helps!
Alexis
